Sean Johnson's Biggest Games

By Steve DiMiceli

Ahead of Senior Day 2013, I wanted to honor Andre Marhold and Sean Johnson by highlighting their five biggest games.

#5 Monday November 11, 2012 vs James Madison 20 Points

Sean dropped 20 points on while going 6-9 from the floor and 7-8 from the line before leaving the game early.

#4 Saturday Novemeber 19, 2011 vs Akron 24 Points

Led the Dukes to an unexpected win against a good Akron team. Very efficient going 8-12 from the floor while making all eight free throws he took including four in the final 22 seconds.

#3 Friday, March 11, 2011 vs St Joe's in Atlantic City 18 Points 5 Assists

A bright spot in an otherwise dismal performance by the Dukes who squandered their first round bye. His performance gave a ray of hope for the next season.

#2 Wednesday,  January 18, 2012 vs UMass 20 Points 10 Rebounds

Sean's only double - double of his career came against a UMass team flat out embarrassed by the Dukes. This may have been Ron Everhart's finest game.

#1 Thursday, January 17, 2013 @ UMass 29 Points

Sean did everything he could to will the Dukes back into this game after falling behind early. The pressure that limited he and Derrick Colter for much of the first half waned in the second and he went off for 18 in the second.
