Game Notes

The Rams are showing improvement under fifth year coach Cathy Andruzzi.  The Rams hit rock bottom in the 2007-2008 season with a record of 0-29 (0-14 A10).  Since they we 8-21 (1-13 A10) and 8-22 (2-12) in 2008/2009 and 2009/2010 seasons, respectively.   They already have 10 wins this season and 2 home A-10 victories.   Their last A-10 road win was February 7, 2009 vs. La Salle.

Dukes need to rebound from a poor shooting performance at GW.  Dukes only shot 33% from the floor and watched GW cut an 18 point lead with 13 minutes left to 5 points with 40 seconds left.   Dukes hung on to record their first win ever at GW by 8.

This is the third of four games in a row vs. the A10 second division teams and can not afford any slip-ups if they wish to achieve an NCAA at-large tournament bid.
