Disclaimer - I have no idea if the Duquesne Women have ever been to the NCAA Tournament; or if they have been, what year that was. Anyhow, Suzie McConnell-Serio has her Dukes off to a fast 15-2 start with their only losses to West Virginia and Vanderbilt. It's that time of year again when the "Bracket" experts come into the fold and make a prediction on how the bracket would look if the NCAA Tournament started at this moment. While there is a lot of time left in the regular season, and an entire conference tournament season, Charlie Creme of ESPN.com has selected the Dukes as his #7-Seed in the "Dayton" Region. He has the Dukes playing a first round game against #10-Arizona State in nearby Albuquerque, NM. The winner of that game would most likely face-off against #2-Texas A&M(15-1). I, for one, am hoping for 3 things:
1 - The Dukes make the NCAA Tournament
2 - The first round game is either in University Park, PA or College Park, MD so that I might have an opportunity to drive to the game and witness it in person
3 - A win
We'll track this again next week(or whenever Charlie Creme gives us an update on his bracket(ology).
