It's finally over and it doesn't suck either.
Duquesne's two and half week long coaching search ended tonight as Duquesne officially announced that Jim Ferry will be the next head coach at Duquesne university. Reports prior to his Monday visit to Pittsburgh suggest that he was offered a 7 year contract with a base salary of $600,000 as season.
There is no word on the who his assistants will be but according to Jeff Goodman of CBS Sports, Long Island will retain Associate Head Coach Jack Perri to lead the program.
