Now I don't speak Dutch, but I do speak German, English and a tiny bit of French meaning I have about a 30% chance of understanding Dutch when I read it. Here is my best stab at interpreting this article.
Kadeem Pantophlet to Duquesne University

From the Canary Islands, we were just given the message that the 20 year old Dutch Kadeem Pantophlet will go to the NCAA Division 1 playing for Duquesne University. The two meter tall youth - international played last year for the Canaries Basketball Academy, before which he played for Eiffel Towers in UBall in Utrecht.
The Duquesne Dukes play in Pittsburgh and come from the Atlantic Ten Conference
